SLX Free Play

Hi All.

I haven't been 100% happy with my SLX brakes since I bought the bike ( 2015 Giant Trance 1 ) they work well and stop real well it's just the amount of free play in the lever before they bite, I have the reach adjusters quite a long way out so while covering the brake with one finger the bite point is around where I would like it, if I move the reach in further towards the bars the bite point also moves in and almost feels like the lever is coming back to the bars.

Would a good bleed alter the free play ?

    Maybe.
Try it and see if it improves the lever action. SLX brakes are easy to bleed.
