  • Going from Shimano to SRAM in search of reliability seems the wrong way to go about things

That's pretty much just the beginning of the spending though isn't it, as you also need Campag derailleurs and campag 10 speed cassettes due to different spacing vs SRAM/Shimano which then means campag freehub for your wheels.

Any issues with brake pull ratio using Campag brifters on Shimano brakes? I'm assuming the chainset would be fine...

If you're doing all that, surely better to just make the jump to a newer 11 speed group?

nope i ran 10 speed QS campag with shimano for years and the only minor issue was one cassette sprocket didnt work well which could have been fixed with a shiftmate everything else works just fine

  • I run Shimano hubs on my CX bike. Campag shifters and rear mech, and just use a Miche or Ambrosio Campag spaced cassette on Shimano splined body - works perfect.

Campag. My '08 Chorus is still going strong. Low end SRAM is awful plastic crap.
