Ipad 2 not finding devices on Tacx Flow Smart

Hi

What would be the reasons I cannot get my ipad 2 to connect to the tacx flow smart? I start the scan but it just sits there not able to find anything.

The Tacx Flow uses Bluetooth smart. Which the iPad 2 does not have.

You'd be needing an ANT+ stick for the laptop

Or a new iPad as how long will the iPad 2 really support most apps? The mini 2 after xmas could be a good purchase.

I have an ant+ thingy, a Sunto one if I remeber rightly. Looking forward to getting the laptop back!! Been using Zwift last couple of days on the iphone 6+, works well but obviously not ideal. Although to be fair, I'm still trying to get to grips with Zwift itself.
