Hi
My rear tyre in my trek domane is finished now and i need to buy a new one
Which tyre would you recommend? The original bontrager tyre, or any other brand?
On the same hand, i was thinking on buying slime tubes. Does it worth?
Thanks

As mentioned in that thread, latex tubes are worth considering and a can of Vittoria Pit Stop Sealant may get you home if you experience a visit from the puncturists. You should always carry a couple of spare inner tubes and puncture repair kit/pump as well though but.
Tyres, we all have our favourites and every blinking bods will be along to tell you what theirs is, I like Panaracer tyres, Race D EVO 2 now replaced by EVO 3 and Gravelking.0 -
What do you want from a tyre? See this http://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com ... turbo-20160

I do 2000 miles a year, i am not going to get into any competition. I just want a standard tyre0 -
The Domane 2.3 takes standard 700c tyres so the world is your oyster, there's not really such thing as a 'standard' tyre, although you might want to stick with 25mm given that's what the bike will have been supplied with.
GP4000S is a good if expensive choice.0 -
For my summer bike GP4000s in 25mm all the way for me. I find them a great ride and pretty sturdy.
For the winter bike some great fat schwalbe marathon plus that are bombproof but about 3 times the weight of the Contis,0 -
