Price drop after Xmas?

I haven't studied cycle shop prices at Xmas. I was thinking about buying a power meter and a Garmin head. I don't know whether to go new or used. Black Friday had nothing useful for me. What about January when everyone has spent their money?
Reasonable to think so, but does anyone have real experience in this?

No idea, depends what model you want but I can't see them going much lower than they have (again, depends on model and shop!).

I managed to get a Stages crank arm for £215 during Black Friday. I've seen a few deals in the last week, like Garmin Vectors, double sided for £550 but they tend to sell out real quick. Again Power2Max put out a NG early offer today that's already sold out.

More likely prices will go up substantially, if not immediately after xmas then soon afterwards, thanks to brexit and the plunging value of the pound...
