Hi, looking for a bit of info, I have a Carrera Vengeance and I want to replace the bottom bracket, the original is a sealed unit, can I fit an unsealed unit instead of the sealed one. Thanks, Johnny.

May I suggest that you determine which specs your bike has in respect of
- the bottom bracket shell of the frame and
- the crank set.
See table attached for various specs:

Why on gods green earth would you want to fit an unsealed unit, they cost no less and require more effort and last less time.
New sealed ones (Shimano) can be had for less than a tenner and last donkeys years.
The vengeance is a 68mm English thread, no need to waste time finding a that out!

Too late now, but for general information, 2016 Carrera MTB's are 73mm
