See through lycra

This morning on the drive into work I found myself following, probably for a bit longer than was strictly necessary, a lady cyclist. I suspect that she was unaware of quite how see through her lycra was, but I could clearly see she was wearing a pair of black lacy knickers underneath :D

So should I have mentioned it to her as I pulled up beside her at the lights?

    Disgraceful.
  • Mentioned what, that no underwear should be worn under shorts?

    argh .... that's a dilemma

not the mentioning it .. that's a no no, mind your own business ... the real dilemma is, do you over take her for the SCR points, or follow, just to perv but miss out on the points ... hmmmmmmm .... glad it wasn't me

You see, that was the dilemma. Should I be pointing out that her lycra was to all intents and purposes invisible as it was so stretched about her nether regions? Should I have mentioned the inadvisability of lacy underwear for cycling? Or the fact that some tights with a chamois insert might be more comfortable?

    Minefield!

(no SCR points to be had; I was in the car!)

a gentleman would never mention that a lady's knickers are visible through her lycra, simply note the phenomenon and take it as a timely reminder to check that ones own lycra has not gone a bit thin

Next time you should make sure you...have a bloody dashcam!
  • Glad it was a lady for you. I caught up a guy at lights but couldn't get past. His Lycra had a see through patch. Worse than builder's bum!

Just occasionally, I feel like mountain bikers are missing out :P

Was it see through because you had an overly bright front light angled too high? :)

That would be 2 things at once for our resident moral policeman to get irate about :)
