Shimergo advice
Hi all, I have Shimano 9s gear mostly. I tried a friends Campy 11s shifters for feel and liked the shape a lot. I've read in various places that Campy 11s shifters work well with Shimano 9s setups, but it's £100+ to confirm. Slightly concerned because I read some things about cable pull changing in more recent models that was not totally clear to me. Has anyone done this recently with a current range Campag shifter? Thinking about Athena, or maybe Chorus. -Cheers

Yes, I use that setup... you need pre-2016 shifters, 'cause Campagnolo changed their pull ratios. Look in the second hand market. There was a guy selling a pair of Athen shifters in the classifieds... not sure about the year thoughleft the forum March 20230

Thanks for confirming. It was the pre-2016 that was the thing I wasn't sure about. Saved me some hassle there.0 -
Bear in mind that 2016 models were already available in the autumn/winter of 2015left the forum March 20230
