    I'd say you'd get away with Pros on that, I've fitted a pair to my Allez running 25mm Gatorskins (measure 28mm) and there's enough cover. The XLs may be a bit too much.

    25 mm (actual) or under, standard. Over that, XL.

    Sorry for the thread hijack, but how good are the sks race blade xl guards? I like the ease of fitment, but they stop at the brake "bridge" between the seat stays and I wonder how much muck gets sprayed over the bike. Likewise the front guard stops at fork.

    Are they as good as full length guards.
