Wood, wood, more cutting of word is todays jobs and somewhere I need to fit in washing the cars and painting the outside of the bath ready for it being re-enamelled next week.

At some point the wife is going to get the tree and at that point I can't delay Christmas anymore

Bathroom fitter guy is here today, so Sunday lunch will be delayed until later - wonder if it will fit in with pub time :)

Morning Nork supports and Lumberjacks in frilly knickers

Stunning, cloudless day outside. Tried to persuade the Toots to go for a walk but they're intent on sticking me to my original promise of soft play area. Bollox. Still, a bit of MILF watching might be had.

Late late breakfast of scrambled egg is in order.

    Laters.

  • Decent if lonely ride this morning but I seem to have worn a clear out.

I have a feeling a tree will be mentioned today but first I need to find a nice joint to roast.

Traditional slow start was had, accompanied by a mild hangover. Much pottering has been done since, glass bauble repaired with skin and glue has held up well. Taking the old man out for lunch as my Mother has gone to Verona for a week. Need to prepare for a full week in the office, mentally prepare that is. No more working from home for me.

Sundays seem to be getting busier, I blame the wife. I have at least started Xmas preparations and bought some Christmas cards and stamps but no idea about pressies. Another busy week ahead at.work.

  • I didn't encounter any clowns behind the wheel whilst on my bike ride in the morning but when I drove to the shops later they were out in force. This part of the world it's largely pensioners who long since should have had their licenses taken away.

Soooooo cold. 45 mins in we bailed. I came home and went to bed with all my clothes on, riding buddy went and laid on his under floor heated bathroom. Freakin', freakin' cold. Haven't been that cold since being stuck out in the tundra a couple of years ago.

    Cold.
