It does of course depend if you mean off road on a mountain bike or on road and what kind of mountains and how much snow and ice. Do you mean danger of falling off on a slippery road or danger of being caught in a blizzard and getting lost in snow drifts?

If we are talking Road than yes if there is snow around it will be more slippy than say the summer.0
