Hi,

Has anyone got any experience of bike hire from Les Gets?
I will be going over next summer and am considering hiring a bike.
I will be looking for either an Enduro or DH bike.
I have looked at the websites for Intersport, Delavay and Nevada and 1 other i forget the name of.
Are the bikes ok, well maintained etc?

I know Morzine is just down the road and there will be other rental options there but it would be more convenient if i could find something on my doorstep.

Cheers!

I can't recommend anywhere in particular, but we were there over the summer and there seemed to be plenty of well stocked shops with loads of hire options. Certainly none of them looking like they were hiring out crap and poorly maintained machinery.

We didn't use them as we were there for a fortnight and the cost of rental was high, particularly for multiple day use.

Obviously more availability in Morzine though, by quite some distance.

  • I rented full DH rig in Morzine in 2014 from http://toricomorzine.com/ very good service and all running sound for the entire week. They replaced brake pads and worn out tyres with no issues.

We got 10% off as booked accommodation via MTBmorzinebeds

    Hope that helps.
