smart trainer with zwift

hi , I'm getting aTacx Flux Smart Trainer and will be downloading zwift,i also use a garmin edge 520 with the
heart rate monitor and cadence censors etc . the smart trainer apparently can connect to my mac via blue tooth .
but do i need the ANT+ usb for the mac to see the sensors ?or can the trainer connect to the censers ???
or is this a stupid question :lol:

    No such thing as a stupid question ;) You're right your Mac can connect via BTLE so you're sorted for connecting to your trainer, but, if you have a Garmin cadence sensor and HRM they are ANT+ only. In which case you'd have to swap those out for BT capable sensors like the Wahoo RPM and Wahoo Tickr, or buy an ANT+ stick for your Mac.
