How to post a cycle to US

I've just bought a nice cycle for myself from ebay. My son has just told me that his cycle has been stolen. He is studying at Chico in North California. Can anyone recommend a way of posting a bike to US please ?

Are you talking about 'who to ship with' or how to get the bike in a state so it can be shipped?
Try this for starters. Couriers like UPS will be able to handle shipping.

Must be a better way than you losing your bike and paying for transport across the globe ? For the cost of the transport he can pick up a bike (and get him to get a better lock ?)
