I have a new xt BB that I'm about to instal. I have measured the shell and its 68mm.
I understand that I should have 2 spacers 2.5mm) on the drive side and 1 on the left.
The new BB has another spacer included but a bit thinner than the other 3. Do I need to instal that as well, and if so which side?
Thanks for any help

its normally 2 spacers to drive side and 1 non drive side.
If your replacing the same bottom bracket with what is already on the bike then when you take off the old check to see what the spacer arrangement was and copy this.
My bike is only a 1x10 setup and I only use 1 spacer on the drive side and non on the non drive side.0 -
