advice on buying old Bianchi

Hi i have been offered an Bianchi mega pro xl with full camp Record groupset for £250, there are no issues with the bike , but i am aware it is approx 17 years old, is this still a good buy? It's only for exercise and days out, not looking for a proper competition bike
