    Seriously mate, there is no 'better' - all that matters is which one you prefer. If you get dropped on the Allez, you would still have got dropped on the Caad12.

    The cheaper one .. and spend the remainder on other stuff you will need .. or keep I in the bank for when you first wipe out and need to replace bits

    There both great race bikes, it all comes down to which you prefer the look of or fits you better,I've the allez as my race bike and it's my legs holding me back not the bike
