Buying Canyon bikes--Any additional VAT?

I'm USA based and just ordered two Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 9.0 SL bikes to be shipped off to a friend in Mexico. For those who ordered Canyon bikes do their specific countries can you share your experience in paying any additional VAT?
