Onward and Upward Part 3 (The end)

and so after a week or so since Part 2 I have reached the end.
All the parts were there but work got in the way of the build.
The shifter came at last and then when putting the grips on I found it had a split in the rubber so a new pair had to be sent
Anyway I put the stickers on in the lounge this afternoon as I wanted the bike to warm up from being in the garage and with Sarah at school it was safe to bring into the house.
So its all wrapped in a dust sheet and awaiting Christmas day

LX Deore changer from my Marin as I changed to 9 speed
Altus shifter from Chain reaction
8 speed cassette from my bike which was hardly used
Jagwire cables from ebay
Shimano BR445/446 brakes from my bike as I changed to Deores
Discs from ebay
New stem from ebay
Head set from Chain reaction
BB and retread from local bike shop
Bars and seat post were original and cleaned up
Seat from eBay
Pedals DMR plastic type from eBay
Suntour suspension forks from Tesco (YT Bikes)
So Total l around £250 which is on par with Halfords etc and I have the satisfication of the build and knowledge that its spot on
