Straight Fork In Tapered 1.5-1.25" Headtube?

Hey guys,

My new Canyon Endurace CF fork doesn't have vertical clearance for my 25c Schwalbe Winter ice tyre but the fork from my Roadlite AL does, when I went to swap forks I discovered that the Endurace fork was tapered, from 1.5" to 1.25" and the Roadlite fork is straight 1.125".

I've since discovered that most tapered forks are 1.5" to 1.125" and the dimensions on my Canyon are Giant's OverDrive 2 Road fork dimensions. I think the MTB OD2 is different which made Google more difficult because nobody is talking about road forks.

I can't use my Roadlite as my winter bike as the frame cracked and is being sent back for warranty, I know there's a spacer to adapt a 1.125" fork in a 1.5" crown race, but what about the top? Can I get a shim/spacer/adaptor for 1.125" to 1.25"?

I read Park Tools informative headset guide telling me all about SHIS and I understand some top/bottom headsets are different combinations. I don't know what headset dimensions I have in the Endurace, I believe sometimes they're printed on the cups so I can have a look later, but it's an Acros The Clamp which I haven't seen details of. I've reached out to Canyon on Twitter about sizing but haven't heard back.

This is really complicated and frustrating. I just need the top headset to fit so I can ride my bike through the winter!

I live in Ireland, so any links to UK/EU websites would be helpful.

Or maybe I'm overthinking this, does anyone have advice on this?
