They use library photos supplied by the manufacturer, sometimes they get it wrong sometimes the manufacturer never updates it.
Not familiar with the pad, do you actually need the groove for any reason and is the reason it's been deleted is that it's not needed? (Noting my Clarke pads have a similar groove which is where the retaining Spring sits)Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
Hi the pads do need the groove in them for the retaining spring that holds them in place.0

Halfords have them, including, worth a look, you could order into store and see before buying, both photos show a groove.
Wholly hat shop has some 'made' by Clarkes and a different library photo, so may be an option.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
