Jacket too tight across my back

I have been trying to find a winter waterproof jacket, at around the £60 mark. I am normally a large to extra-large, but every jacket I have tried (even with just a base layer on) is too tight across my back when in the cycle position. The sleeves also bunch up and get tight across the front of my shoulders. I did try a 2 XL, but this feels massive on me and is still only a little better. I tried Altura Nevis 3, a Gore and B'Twin 700, plus a few others. I tried an Altura single track (£90 ish) and there is a definite improvement. has anyone else had such issues.

What build are you ??

If you are heavily into body building or overweight you will find your choice is limited.

I am 100kg and 2m tall, gore jackets fit me fine in 2xl size. People will be able to advise better.

I'm currently a touch on the husky side (6'1" and 16 stone) and find Endura XL kit a nice fit. Maddison is also good.

For the last year, yes. Which is why I've ridden seven times in a year and put on half a ton.
Time to shift some lard now.
