Ebay Cervelo S5 scam

Thought this was too good to be true.

Cervelo S5 with Dura Ace Di2, Garmin Vector pedals, Zipp Firecrest wheelset and Rotor 3D+ crankset.

1200 quid buy it now!

Emailed the seller asking why so cheap but reply was I can buy it outside of ebay but not through PayPal only through bank transfer outside of fleabay (where you really haven't got a leg to stand on if something goes wrong).

No doubt someone will fall for it though. Beware!

Excellent feedback but I reckon the account may have been hacked.

  • There are loads of bikes being listed like this on ebay at the moment. Ive got fed up reporting them. Any that say something like this will be a scam

    Name sticker is of an American triathlete. Unlikely he's selling it in the UK.

    Yepp, total scam. £1200 and the bike is still fugly, have these people no shame?
