Rear shock replacement for 2014 Stumpjumper expert Evo 29er.

Hi, long time since I last posted!

I'm looking to upgrade/replace my faulty shock. Getting really confused with all the different sizes abs what not!

Could anyone tell me what size shock would fit that frame, looking to replace it with another Fox Shock.

a quick google suggests that its a 195x46mm shock shock size but ityou are limited to what you can fit - monarch RC3 is an option

you can also replace the yolk with

and buy a new metric shock in 190x45

Due to Specialized's specific shock fitting (yoke on the piston end) you're extremely limited for choice.
It's easiest to get yours custom tuned by someone like TF Tuned.

Take also in account that if you buy a shock aftermarket it not comes with the custom tune for your bike, itbwould be and stardard shock..

That's kind of irrelevant about the tunes as no other shock will fit.

Rockshox do a Monarch Plus RC3 for the Stumpy Evo 29er. It's very expensive though.

Alternatively you could get an aftermarket yoke and then fit any shock you fancy.

The Monarch Plus RC3 isn't too great. I don't like mine much. It's just rather crude and doesn't work well over high frequency bumps or braking bumps.
TF Tuned rebuilt my mates dead Fox CTD for his Stumpy with much better parts to create a much better shock. It wasn't too expensive either.
