I have some sram guide r brakes on my new bike had about 5 rides on it (granted I crashed once or twice) but the levers seem to have excessive play. Is there a way to replace the little bush and does anyone know we're to get them from?

Thanks

  • Most Avids have a lever service kit available for them - Zyro Fisher is the official uk supplier for SRAM, but you'd have to order through a shop. CRC/Wiggle/etc should also have them

If it's a new bike then take it back to the shop!

Thanks I will have a look on there. The thing is because I have crashed it it has small scuffs on each end of the brake levers so I am pretty sure they will just say it's due to crashing. I have already had to take it back twice due to a failing dropper post and a rear shock that was mincing itself.

    Thanks
