Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advice on a new road bike please.
I ride around 100 miles a week split between hilly and flat rides and usually alone. I'm torn between an aero bike and a normal racer. I've been considering a Cervelo S2 - http://www.nrgcycles.co.uk/60450/products/cervelo-s2-105-2015-11sp.aspx
Giant Advanced Propel Pro 2 - https://www.rutlandcycling.com/318614/products/2016-giant-propel-advanced-pro-2-composite-road-bike-white-blue.aspx?oldid=318614
Cube Litening -

Not sure if anyone can give any advice or point me in the direction of something better?
Budget is around the £1,500 mark.
Thanks in advance!!

Buy the one you most like the look of. None of those listed have any particular advantage over the others.0

Another alternative?

Trouble is with that budget you've got a huge choice, and you're going to get a different opinion from most answers, so be prepared!
Is there any particular reason to go for an aero frame? To be honest, given the riding you do I can't see that you'll need an aero bike - but if you fancy one, then go for it. Don't rule out disc brakes as well, good hydraulic disc brakes will be available at that price point, and there's an explosion of choice for this type of bike nowadays.
I think the first thing to do is get a long-list, decide what you really want from a bike, whittle it down and then try and get a physical hold of them, see them in the flesh and perhaps a test ride (although tbh test rides can only give you a certain feel, especially if the bike isn't set up that well for you).0 -
An aero bike tends to give a more racy position on the bike. I don't own one but looked at the propel and the s2 - as an older guy I came to the conclusion the s2 would be the better bike for me - as the position doesn't seen as aggressive as the propel.
If you can ride some do so. I think you at least need to sit on some of the bikes rather than just ordering on line.0
