Hi
Just a quick message I'm basically asking for a one word answer completely based on spec and the performance for trail riding and single track things for places like Swindon and Cannock Chase shall I go for the 2016 GT Zaskar Sport or the 2016 Diamondback Heist 2.0?
I will be putting a dropper post in the one I get if that' changes anything.
Many thanks

Both are good at their respective price points (sale prices, not rrps). The Heist apparently has fairly relaxed geometry which would make it a little more stable on the descents than the Zaskar, which seems to be heading back to the way it was in the 90s with steepish head angles. Though GT can't seem to make their mind up what the name Zaskar means anymore and confuse everyone by releasing a load of nonsense year on year.
However DB don't list any geometry for their bikes on their website which is a bit daft. Id take the DB for more technical riding, the Zaskar for more XC based stuff. Or look at a Bizango.0 -
Problem is SS, thats more than one word.0
