    I've seen a similar animation (probably using the same software) that replays the race around an actual map of the course (presumably derived from a gps trace). That's even cooler!

    Pretty sure it was this software, the race was one in this series, maybe a year or two later.

    As an aside, I think the race in that link may be the first one I ever did!

    Really? I'd assumed you were a seasoned veteran.

    I think this race had a spiral of despair, which seems topical.
