best places to ride south of london.

I passed my driving test a few months ago and i'm looking for decent places to ride local to me, i've been riding QECP for years and i've been to swinley a few times since i passed. I'm not ruling out south wales and quantocks looks interesting but is there anywhere else i should try?

Thanks for the reply, i went to peaslake the other weekend following the standard trails ,barry knows best,summer lightening, parklife Etc. but i'll have to go back as there are quite a few hidden gems, also done a bit at hindhead not as good but plenty of xc stuff and has a cafe which is always good.
