Stages PM and Garmin Speed/Cadence Sensor

Just had a Stages crank arm based power meter fitted to my bike which I believe transmits cadence to my Garmin 510 head unit directly, is this correct and if so can I do away with the speed/cadence sensor on my chainstay?
Thanks
Thanks

its what I have been using for the past year or so and have never really thought about it, I change wheels regularly so never bothered with the wheel based speed magnet, it was more the cadence I was worried about.

Never had an issue with the cadence via my stages, I'd take them off.Trainer Road Blog: https://hitthesweetspot.home.blog/
