Hi im looking to get a hardtail spending £650 can't really go much more on budget at all. I'd like a trail orientated one and not a cross country one if possible. Im looking for 650b tires and a 120mm suspension fork. I'll be riding trail centres such as cannock chase also my local trails which do have some steep sections. If anyone has any ideas or shall i provide any more information for them to help it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you

  • If you'd consider a 29er, the voodoo Bizango receives rave reviews in this price bracket.

The bizango looks decent i'd usually not be fussed however is it just me or is the colour of them horrible?

I ride a Bizango 2016, really impressed with it, able to hang - on, on most trails with riders on full sussers so its a capable bike. The colour is not the best but its great value for money, even better if u find one under offer or get an online discount code etc.
Caveat - I buy and ride cheap, however, I reserve the right to advise on expensive kit that I have never actually used and possibly never will

Not a bad spec match-up against the Bizango, at the sales price of ~£493 before cashback, but in 27.5" flavour wheels.

I agree with you there 27.5 is better and that deal certainly looks good! Any one got any thoughts on the Diamondback Heist 2 as well? Any body know which is better out of them all?

It only comes in Yellowy-sick colour right? The hoodoo i think is the blue one. If you have a blue voodoo where have u got that from?

It has a slight green tinge to it. Good bike if you want a 29er.

Heist looks good for the money, great drivetrain, good hubs (often overlooked at this price), nice finishing kit. Brakes are a bit bulky, but get the job done and are reliable, as is the fork, if a bit 'overactive'.

Check out OnOne too, often have a 456/Inbred/Parkwood at around this price.

Oh yes, so it is. My mistake! I assumed the bizango was available in the blue and yellowy green colour.

    Apologies.

Hi I checked out the On One all look a little pricey for now, And i'd much prefer a 27.5 so would you advise a DiamondbackHeist 2 or a GT Zaskar sport, if we took price totally out of it. Cheers
