Hi, has anyone else experienced a problem synchronising thier garmin edge 1000 to a Di2 dura ace, I have no problem adding my heart rate cadence crank and speed sensors however when it comes to the Di2 it can't find the sensor, all I get is the searching for device, whilst the search is active in running up and down the rear and front mech to no avail, can anyone help me ....

    Where is your transmitter unit?
  • Mounted under the stem ..
  • Can we see a pic of where it is and how it's wired?

    I did a quick vid on this subject;

    This is the sensor that is being looked for. Could be a firmware issue if it is not being found.

    Indeed, but I'm just wondering if the OP actually HAS the sensor and thinks maybe the gear position just shows up as standard. Could be wrong.
    But if it's a Garmin 1000, then most likely it's new enough to have the right firmware.
  • I've now installed the latest software on my Garmin, 3.10, still no joy, I've check the comparability issues with the dura ace 9070 again it's comparable, all the cable are correctly fitted, the battle is fully charged, I just can't seem to get my Garmin to locate my di2 system or my shifters, my sensor for the d-fly is also in the recommended spot on the rear stay, does anyone have any ideas please .....

    The latest software on my 1000 is version 11.10.

    Are you sure you have the latest version ?
  • 1. Try bringing the Garmin, by hand to the sensor, although it shouldn't be a range problem.

    2. You do know that you have to 'wake up' the Di2 for the Garmin to see it right? You need to make a shift of some kind. Only then will the sensor send signals to the Garmin.
  • Thank you for everyone's help in this matter, bike & Garmin booked in tomorrow in the concept store, I will post the outcome !!
