Gore Bike Wear ONE Gore-Tex Active Jacket

Anyone got or tested the new "Gore Bike Wear ONE Gore-Tex Active Jacket"?
Seen many reviews about this jacket saying that it is waterproof, windproof and very packable.
What is it like in heavy / torrential rain?

    Its a lot of money for a back layer that spends most its time in your saddlebag or back pocket.

    It's very very good. It's obviously not cheap but it does work and work very well. If you find yourself in lots of wet weather, it's worth the money.

    It is completely waterproof in any weather, as above it is very expensive but worth it in my opinion. It is also so light that I just shove it in a rear pocket on any ride all year round, it has made a standard rain jacket pretty much redundant for me.

    Have you washed it? Any effect on performance?

    Just a light wash and it's fine. It is, effectively, just the membrane, so it doesn't really get dirty and it has no coating like a typical waterproof does.

    As above, no effect. The only thing to note is that as a membrane it is incredibly thin (like a piece of wax paper). If you crashed in it or caught it on something it would be wrecked.
