Today is decorating and moving to the other side of the house as we finish off the heating & change the bathroom modelled on a ships one to something that doesn't look as odd!

In-between I will try and get a bike ride in and some pub time later

    First some work meh

It's still grim up North so any trip out with the parentals isn't going to work. At least there will be some footy on the radio on the way home.

  • Brrrrr, bike ride, followed by pub followed by feet up.

Did I say it was cold

    Changing rooms?

    Morning Nork supports

Just managed to get up on account of watching the whole and enthralling London 6 last night whilst pausing for MOTD.

    More coffee needed.

Hopefully lit the touch paper in the EU thread. Some people think they are soooo morally superior.

That's a strong cold wind out there. Currently unfreezing bodyparts that haven't been or missed being so cold for 9 months.

    Afternoon folks,
Traditional slow start was facilitated by man flu meaning the trip to the sister in law was cancelled. This is good. Not done much other than fighting computers and things I don't understand. Apparently I can't transfer Office 2016 from one computer to another. I got bored trying to work it out anyway.

i posted a far too long and unusually measured (in my opinion) one there

obviously the only solution will involve blood in the streets, but cake stop, meh, what's the use

..but a reasoned one at least. We haven't had the pleasure of certain protagonists yet... I am prepared and I have pre-empted something that I think is guaranteed to be pointed at me.

no, it balances out the time the york hilton charged me someone else's bar bill and i didn't notice

plus that one in france with the blood sucking insects, the one in florida with the cockroaches, the one in phoenix with the black widow spider in my room, the one in orlando with no soundproofing from the atrium, the one in prague with no soundproofing from the snorey bloke next door, the one in east kilbride where the bathroom door fell off and they nearly set fire to us in the restaurant, the one in india with the river that ran through the room in the monsoon, the one in milan that served dead flies in the pasta, the one in denver with the wet carpet, the one in milan with no food, the other one in milan with no booze, the one in amsterdam that served us what appeared to be pet food, the one in edinburgh without heating, the one in llandudno without electricity, i could continue, but i'd probably break the maximum post length limit

i stay in a lot of hotels, most without any problem, the rest give something to laugh about when flights are delayed, and don't get me started on bastard airlines

...and having d1cked about this morning when at least it was dry, as soon as finally got out on the planned 2 hours jaunt, here goes cold windy and wet. Why is it always a headwind when it's raining? Just about thawed out now, post hot bath, woodburner on and 1st beer down.

    Ciao

Just suffered another 2 hours of The Boy's annual singing school show. Jaw dropping key bad at times but highly highly amusing.

Now drinking ale while The Hound snores at my feet and The Girl snores in her bed upstairs. Really cool programme on More4 about WW2 - presenter being really respectful but very good fun.

Thanks, I started down that road but got bored far too easily and gave it to the boy to sort out. He might get round to it some time.
