Fd5600 compatability with SL4600 and fc4600

I have a 5600 front mech lying around that I want to put on a flat bar bike with 4600 shifters and chainset
I have checked the shimano compatability charts, but I think the mech and shifters are from such different years (c.2008 vs c2015) that I can't find a table with both on. Anyone know if I'm going to get any problem with this setup? My guess is it will be fine, but thought I'd ask just in case.
