Hello,

I'm going to buy my first cyclocross bike. :) I did some research on the internet and have found 2 bikes: http://www.wiggle.nl/verenti-substance-105-2016/
and this one
http://www.wiggle.com/verenti-substance-sora-2016/

I don't know which one is the best in price/quality. Pleas help me...

There is a little bit of added confusion there because the top one links to the Wiggle Netherlands site and the bottom is the UK.
The price difference in the UK is £200 and it seems the more expensive one has only the better groupset (gears) and different wheels over the cheaper one. With that in mind I'd probably go for the cheaper of the two, Sora gears are good enough and cheaper to replace parts.
What are you planning to do with it? If you are planning racing the cheaper gears will be the better idea because you WILL break things when racing.
Is there a reason for going for steel? Looking at those on the Wiggle site I noticed the Raleigh at £700 which is probably what I'd go for but I angle my bikes towards CX racing.
  • Personally I would go with the 105 groupset. I just find the better shifting is worth the extra money. Not sure the difference is as worth it after 105 but I think it is up to that point.
  • new Sora and 105 doesn't have much in shifting difference...
