Shimano RW5 - Dry Shield Winter Cycling Road Shoes,

Anyone own/had any experience with these at all? Trying to decide on purchase of these, after some thoughts of owners if possible please.

Ta..

  • No one?

Seems these maybe new to market, no reviews out there at the moment...
  • Also interested in these. They look pretty good, my only concern is the lack of Gore-Tex. They use Shimano's own Dryshield fabric. The MTB equivalent has two versions - MW5 and MW7. MW7 is £20 more and has Gore-Tex rather than Dryshield.

Wondering whether to just spend £20 more and but Northwave Fahrenheit 2 GTXs.

I've a pair of Shimano MW81 (older model) MTB Gore Tex boots and they've been fantastic at keeping my feet warm and mostly dry for the last 3 years. Doesn't matter what shoes/boots you go for none of them can keep the water from running down your leg and into the shoe/boot but they will keep your feet warm even though they are wet/damp inside
