up doing a bit of work meh, hopefully I've done a slam dunk and stopped it

Today is a decent bit of fell running practice with a mate from the village (though depends how he feels after all that ale from being at the local shoot yesterday)

Then it's decorating fun. Later is taking the kids back to the old town for a party & then visiting relatives rather than staying.............. well, when I say visiting relatives, going to the old local, thankfully the wife thought on her feet when invited to stay - but it beats discussing how the kids are settling into their schools, etc, etc

Finished the back staircase repairs. Another job I never want to do again! Not too much swearing involved, but plenty of sweating... humidity today was way up. I am using Shiraz to re-hydrate.

Didn't get up till 9. Yay. Got jobs and a spot of Dads taxi work then some minor fettling to be ready for tomorrow's trip to Wales and a long awaited return to gravityville.

Time for coffee then on with stuff.

Licking my wounds metaphorically speaking. Squeezing a bike ride on Wednesday night and yesterday afternoon between bouts of PPP has left me a little jaded.
Toots 2 is cream crackered and very moody/awkward/tricky. Need to find an outlet for them at some point today. Just wondering if going to bed an hour later tomorrow will let her sleep better.

    More coffee methinks.

    Laters.

    Morning folks,
Disturbed at 8 this morning by the neighbour screaming "no, get down, don't climb on the bed!" Bizarrely she wasn't shouting at a pet but at her kids. Fookin' crazy bint shouldn't be allowed to have children. Various other things were screamed including threats of smacking and good hiding. Hardly surprising the kids cry a lot considering that's the example they are set.
    Day of pottering for me.

If you are in the UK a quick call to the local safeguarding team might help and calm things down.
