Compatibility Garmin 305 - speed cadence sensor

Hello my GSX10 sensor has broken.
I have been offered the new type of Garmin speed Cadence sensor.
Will this work?
Is anyone using them both paired?
Both are Ant+

    I don't think the new magnetless sensors work with the 305.

    Thanks, managed to have a go with the new speed cadence sensor
    Managed to record 30 feet in distance in half an hour.
    Speed and cadence wouldn't read and distance was inaccurate.
