    Morning all,
In the office for a change, this means less working and more tea. I've already had more cups of tea than I had all day yesterday. Managed a ride in this morning as well, although it was pretty dark and gloomy when I set off I believe the sun was rising somewhere behind the clouds. Cafe later for lunch before slipping out early. No pub for me tonight, but then I have been for the last couple of nights.

The Longest Friday. Felt like it anyway.

More jobs, replacing stair treads outside, work on balcony off living room, sorting out pool plumbing a bit, then a quick lunch trip, stopped for hardware supplies, back for a job "interview" which was just a preliminary discussion to decide whether I am worthy of a proper interview FFS, then back to collect about 70 boards for balcony works, unload those, dinner, drinks, and a long walk before the rain set in this evening.

Phark me, I need a real job for a break.

Weekend looking like two days of Fun With Power Tools.

Tired - that last glass of plonk after dinner probably did it. Trying to stagger over the line at 5.00 - and another leaving drink to go to. My liver doesn't like me...

As with TLW1 and HD, last day before half term hols, so expect to finish a bit late as work is stacked up.

Looking forward to first QI with Sandi Toksvig in charge.
  • It takes me ten minutes to pack a case, then Mrs HD takes it apart and repacks it. At that point I may as well just go out...

She can't be worse than Stephen Fry.

Meh. No pedalling this week. All work and no play and all that. I hope TLW gave the pub advanced warning.

    Laters.
