I m sticking with 10 spd cassette so need to remove xd freehub from x4 cassette. There is a bearing at the end of the hub that sits on the axle, im guessing that is reasonably tight preventing the hub from being pulled off by hand.

Photo below.
Any help appreciated.

    Right, ive done it.

Remove black end cap on non drive side then tap axle with rubber mallet (small piece of wood to protect axle end)

Xd driver pops off so not held fast by bearing.

Not sure if axle had moved but will figure that out when the replacement freehub arrives.
