Shimano Road Disc Brake levers meant for Ice, used on 6 bolt?
Can i use "Shimano R785 Di2 Road Disc Brake" meant for Ice Technology Discs (so it says) with 6 bolt discs?
Specifically these levers to be used with 2x11 speed, 6 bolt rotors:

6 bolt discs would be fine, as you say they are for electronic shifting.0

Do you mean ST-R785 shifters or BR-R785 calipers? Actually it doesn't matter which you mean as both can be used with 6 bolt rotors.
One is a di2 shifter and hydraulic brake lever, the other a hydraulic brake caliper. What they brake is irrelevant in terms of function. I have 6-bolt rotors on mine and they work perfectly.

You can, a rotor is a rotor... that said, an Ice tech rotor is a better rotor, as it dissipates heat significantly better. I believe you can buy an ice tech rotor as a 6 bolt (the XT one for example), just it doesn't have the Freeza cooling finsleft the forum March 20230

You can get icetech 6-both if you want.....you seem to be mixing up centrelock v 6 bolts and icetech v plain disc.

I guess he means ice tech Freeza rotors? That's what was recommended when I purchased the exact same set up. They are only centre lock, plus the xt ones you linked to are only available in 160mm+ not 140mm which some road set ups dictate.
