Morning folks,
I think my cousin's neighbour when we were kids was in the Sound. We just thought he was a bit of a weirdo. A bit tired as I was out past my bed time last night watching the Kaiser Chiefs, old stuff was good but new stuff was more average. Contrary to predictions there was no riot and it was all quite civilised. Nice ride in this morning, thankfully the park was open. Bit of fun watching a large stag chasing a female round and round a 5 bar gate, I kept well clear for a while. Now listening to 6 Music on headphones as they are spending the day as if it were 1979, some good stuff on the playlist. Cafe later for dead pig.0 -

Is that you back on the mend?
Talking of which, we haven't heard much moaning and groaning from Wheelspinner recently. Is he on the mend too?
Pity, cos then I knew at least 2 people slower than me and that might change.
I had better get off my aris and out pedalling. Still recovering after yesterday's farquer of a day. Weekend is set to be wet and wild so I had better make the most of it.

Need to go get a mortgage sharpish with the possible sharp inflation rise, which means I need to price up a new heating system and wiring on a 1930's cottage/house thing.Such fun, anyone got ball park figures?

Breakfast was some cardboard and no pigs were in any chance of danger during its production.
Home to some painting later.Advocate of disc brakes.0 -

If an old git is someone a few months older than you, then yes
Assuming the 68 in your name is referring to your birth year.

Add me to that list I'm terribly slow.
Boring day thus far though im keeping a banana close to hand incase of escaped primates from the safari park. ordered some shredded pig for lunch which should be good.
No manager today either his nominated cover doesn't actually care what happens so its minimal work all round today, less after lunch no doubt0 -

Nah still here and still cr@p. Physio taped my back again this week, and for reasons unknown my skin has taken a dislike to the stuff big time. Usually ok with it for a day or two at least, but not this week.
Been doing some house maintenance stuff again. Nice to be ticking some of the long overdue jobs off the list at least.Open One+ BMC TE29 Seven 622SL On One Scandal Cervelo RS0 -

Lots to do at work, not helped by feeling a bit fuzzy round the edges and the fact that they are ripping our section of the office to bits to squeeze more desks in so we've had to hot desk nearby. Judging by what I'm seeing we are going to start appreciating what call centre operatives fee like at some time early next week
But will have a decent early ride home as soon as I've finished the essentials."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Stevo next week as the reality may be more extreme than he realizes.

I hadn't thought of that. Phew, that's a relief.
Seems like other are putting themselves up for being the slowest. Any other takers?
My list was:
3rd last: Pinno/HD tied unless there's a gradient above 1%in which case he's farqed.
2nd last: Oxoman
Last: Wheelspinner.
