is any one running at 40 Tooth Cassette 11spd on Shimano 11spd Road bike i know you have run a road link to get it to work and put 1.85 spacer on the hub+new chain just need some info please :shock:

What info. Use an 11 speed chain cut to the right length a mech that can take a 40t rear sprocket and it will work.http://www.thecycleclinic.co.uk -wheel building and other stuff.0

Yes, there are two road bikes in our garage with 11-40 cassettes. My wife's bike using Deore XT M8000 derailleur and 11-40 cassette with Ultegra 11s shifters and Jtek Shiftmate 8 to convert the cable pull. One of my bikes using an 11-40 cassette, SRAM X9 RD with SRAM Force 22 shifters, and a Wolf Tooth Roadlink to allow the top jockey pulley to clear the 40t cassette cog. Shifting is fine on both bikes.0

i ran same set with a wolftooth tanpan inline but with 11-42 cassette xt 11 rear mech it was pain set up the tanpan. :oops: cheers for info0
