Shorts and jersey for a three year old?

Hello all,
My son is three on Monday, and I'm buying him an Early Rider Road Runner (http://earlyrider.com/products/alley-runner-14-road) because, obviously, of the dropped bars.
I'd really like to get him a little cycling kit, too, but I can't seem to find any novelty lycra for three year olds – it always seems to be six upwards.
Do any of you have any tips for places that I can get this kind of stuff? I've found pictures of toddlers in kits on Google, but they're always on Pinterest with no link to buy...
I'd prefer non-team-replica stuff, but at this point I'm just happy to listen to any suggestions!
Thank you!

Theres no market for 3 year olds bike kit.
Someone could sew an old school yellow jersey and black shorts if you're really keen. Any Nans around ?
Thats probably the way we'll all have to go - sewing our own kit together.0 -
That's the conclusion I'm reluctantly coming to, but I feel like there must be SOME company out there that has some fun stuff on sale for bike-obsessed parents to waste money on. I REALLY WANT TO WASTE MY MONEY ON THIS :-)0

what ..... how do they get that all important aerodynamic advantage then .... I mean whats the point of spanking out on 14" aero wheels if you then blow it all wearing baggy shorts
to the OP ... you could try Castelli XS sizing .... hell aint no way a man could fit into one of them, a 3 year old might though if you put the boy on a diet0 -
Haha - I'll look into that option, thank you.0

I found a place that does vintage jerseys and caps for toddlers! It's in Germany, so ordering from there. Probably won't arrive in time for my son's birthday, but I'm sure he'll be happy with just the bike for a few days :-D
Parents, have a look – this stuff is great: http://www.race-baby.com/index.php0 -
Oh that IS a good find !0

Good choice with the Alley Runner, my son has one (also aged 3) and loves it! Get ready for loads of comments and people asking you about it when he is out riding.
We are constantly on the lookout for cycling kit for him too as he is keen to look like dad and wants to be the same as everyone else when he comes to races.
For jerseys we got lucky and found the Scimitar stuff at the cycle show this year and let him choose his own (spongebob), we got the smallest they do, it's still a little baggy (he was 3 in June) but in this weather he wears it over a hoodie and it will be about right when the weather warms up. Our club got a load of kids ones made up too, so he has one to match me, they went really small because there were at least 2 sizes smaller than the one we got. I think the place they got them from would do a one-off design for you or a plain one if you liked but I'm not sure on pricing. Hang on, I had to find this for you..... http://www.wildoo.co.uk/kids-clothing/
As for shorts, Maddison do them, my OH picked some up the other week but I took them back before he wore them on the bike because they didn't have bib straps and were falling down the second he bent over on the drops. I've found that Polaris do bibshorts quite small, the age 5-6 ones are for kids 116cm tall, thankfully my son isn't too far off that so we are planning to get him some for Christmas.0 -
I saw these guys at the Cyclocross National Trophy last weekend and thought of this thread, finally managed to try on and get some bib shorts for my son!

Frog bikes do a jersey that's sized "4-6".
Which seeing as kids grow a huge amount between those two ages isn't much clue as to the fit, but might be worth looking at.0
