Tut tut, posting while driving :)

Were out early as they are cramming more desks into the office and building some more meeting rooms so we need to be out early so may as well go to the pub. After all it's Thursday and that's the new Friday.

Thursday! Bloody Thursday! Is that the best you could come up with? Sungod would be turning in his grave.

And there was me thinking that it was refreshingly brief.

Another day of doing the same-old. I realised last night that i need some sort of project, I'm spending too much time thinking about work when I'm not at work, which is BAD. Normally I build something, but I can't think what I need to build.

Succinct title HD. I wish you a speedy return from down south which will soon be a post Brexit desert of lost prosperity, tax revenue and opportunity. Hoards of southerners will migrate north in search of jobs while hiding criminals, rapists and ISIS terrorists in their number. Skittles and migrants, I mean would you want to take a handful knowing a unknown number would do you harm. Trump supporters were right in their analogy

The Mancs will propose building Nigel's wall which will extend from the Irish to North Sea to protect the northern powerhouse, their women, children and household pets, excluding goldfish.

Tender proposals for me. Dry and boring.

To be fair if hes on the M1, hes not actually going to be moving now is he.

Long day for me today car went into get an oil leak fixed, some new oil an bits, boring and expensive no doubt. Was planning on riding the six miles from the garage but according the the mother whos visiting that's a stupid idea so I had to endure driving of someone who thinks the brake is a position switch an that everyone is racing her so has to cut them up. So I didn't get a cardio workout but my heart was racing in pure fear most of the way so its pretty similar

    Zen title indeed.

Blowing hard today, and a chilly breeze at that. Did some work on external stairs, a horrible job to do but almost finished now. Perhaps another half day or so on it and it will be done. This is good.

Another possible job op mooted today too. This is also good.

Now out of red wine. This is bad.

Gonna be leaving Skipton soon, will take the A1 I think. Breakfast consisted of a dish called "eat the pink" a coffee and a chocolate and banana milkshake. Promised to paint the stairs when I get home as the cats are still in the cattery until the morning.

Fair point. I avoid the M1 like the plague.

    Good work, congrats.

I'm planning my day driving round the highlands tomorrow for work, might even get to look at some trees in between driving but that's maybe too much to hope for. Taking the GF with me though because she's unemployed, qualified in a slightly related field and wants to learn about my work, might make it a bit more pleasant. Hopefully stopping off (potentially in Stirling?) for some nice food on the way home as it's my birthday on Saturday but I'll be away racing all weekend, maybe she will offer to drive the rest so I can get pissed.

  • Ended up at pret a minger in Piccadilly. Double espresso and a sandwich. Is that eat in or eat out sir? If you can put my coffee in a ceramic espresso cup I'll pay to eat in otherwise I'll pay to eat out. Paper cup, no vat, eat in anyway. After all, I was served a take away. Sometimes you have to take a stand on what's really important.

    Evening all,
Busy day of working from home again, more XL than I can shake a stick at. Going to watch the Kaiser Chiefs shortly in Kingston. Seemed rude not to as it's only a short walk to get there and the EPO wanted to go. That reminds me, due a proper gig outing soon Stevo. Haven't looked to see what's coming up.

Thought you were going to see The Buzzcocks next week? I'm headed up to Cambridge Junction the week after next to see them but nothing planned after that.

Heard that The Stranglers are touring soon so will keep an eye out.

Mate said he would sort tickets but didn't, I completely forgot about it until recently. Very irritating. Kaiser Chiefs were pretty good.

Be sure to give him a good slap for that.

Will keep you posted with any bright ideas we come up with, but may end up being in the New Year at this rate.

'At this rate' what 'rate' is that? Is that the rate you go without a Van or gravity?
