FSA Orbit IS-CX headset and cable routing

My new CX frame has come with a FSA Orbit IS-CX headset, with the cable hanger integrated into the headset top race.

But... how the heck does that work when you turn the handlebars as the hanger will stay in position and the bars/forks will turn! There is a 'noodle' to slot into the hanger -- is that supposed to pivot side to side? Looks like I need to allow enough cable outer to allow for that swivel?

Sorry, but I'm a bit stuck!

Have you tried it yet? The cable hanger is on a section that will turn with your headset spacers and stem. It's above the bearing.

The hanger doesn't turn because its the top cap which is used to pre-load the bearings. Its like this

It's in contact with the inner race, it'll turn with the bars.

Well, I am an idiot. Obviously.

I tried it and the top cap didn't turn. I looked again and realised I didn't have the compression ring inserted in the headset. Put that in and it turns.

    Yep, I am an idiot...
