Brake pad spring
Hi,
I've got a Tektro Lyra caliper & when changing out the rear pad a few days ago I found the spring had snapped. The new set of pads did not come with a new spring & going by the reviews on various bike shops this is a common theme.
Does anybody know where I can get a spring to hold my pads in the caliper? I asked at my local Evans and they did not have anything that suited/fitted.
Regards,
Russell

You have to buy a set of pads that come with a spring, I don't know which do or don't for that calliper. You may have to buy OE. Worth contacting Superstar or Uberbike to see if theirs do.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
