Test ride and then decide. Otherwise, just pick a colour. It's difficult to buy a bad bike at that price level.0 -
What have you got now and what do you like/dislike about it. 3800 is superbike territory.0

think cycle division have 2015 scott solace 10 at around £20000

Trek Domane SL Disc
Always go DI2 if you can. One of the best upgrades to your bike. I have two bikes now with Di2 and I wouldn't want to live without. Perfect shifting all the time and not ever have to worry about wiring maintenance.
Rose CDX 3100 is now available but deliver in the Dec? I will prob ably get that myself if I were to spend £3800.0 -
Never been fussed on Di2 - cables work fine for me and i can't recall the last time I needed to adjust them. And I dont need to recharge.
Rim brakes v discs - what do you prefer ?
How far do you ride ?
What colour is your kit ?
Do you climb like an angel - or are you big boned ?0 -
My default would be to go for the canyon, however if it's just an endurance bike and not being raced I defo go for disc.0

Hi, I currently have a Trek domane 4.5 disc. I m looking for something a lot lighter that will climb better I wouldn't call myelf a climber so I just want a little help. My Domane is quite heavy at 8.94kg the Canyon is 7.4kg and the Rose CDX 3100 that someone recommend is even lighter at 7.3kg but I'm not too keen on the wheels on that one.0

You can spec the Rose with different wheels.0

I would vote for the Synapse, but am now delighted I didn't delay until the 2017 model, both 6800 and the Di2 models have deeply uninspiring (to my eye) colour schemes.

I realise I am biased and love green/yellow, but that black and red thing looks meh to me.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
Marin Palisades Trail 91 and 06
Scott CR1 SL 12
Cannondale Synapse Adventure 15 & 16 Di2
Scott Foil 180 -
Aesthetically the Bianchi blows the other bikes away.0

The Bianchi
The Bianchi
The Bianchi
The Bianchi
The Bianchi
and
The Bianchi
in that order .... seriously the ALL the bikes are going to be excellent, and The Bianchi gets stunning reviews ... but ultimately, spend that much money and you might as well get an excellent bike that is also a stunning machine to look at with a name that ouzes with pure bike porn
the Bianchi
If you don't want it ... buy if for me0 -
At the end of the day - its only like 2 bottles on the bike. For the cash you're talking you could get a good coach for a year and really improve. It's not about the bike. ;-)0

Digging the Yellow/ Green thing, if only to make you more visible on the road (and you'll need to fluoro kit to match so that's another plus)0
