Campag Chorus rear brake caliper nut too short

I have just bought a new frame and the rear brake bridge is too thick for the caliper bolt on my Chorus 2011 rear caliper. So the nut isn't anywhere near it.

Thoughts? The front brake fits on the rear, is it easiest just to buy another front caliper?

Cheers

Just buy a longer nut, they come in various lengths

Don't think it's that simple sadly. From what I can see, the nut doesn't protrude far enough for even a longer bolt to get enough purchase on.

No offence, but I think you're wrong. A longer nut (as shown above) will meet the bolt from the caliper, if it's long enough.

You'll never use the entire thread of the nut, but a good 5/10mm will give good purchase on the bolt.

Don't think I've got even that to play with. From what I can see, there is no thread to play with at all. Still, for a couple of quid it is worth a try.

    Thanks both.

Picture of the caliper? Might help.
